Why you should learn joomla

Hello Guys,

This being my first post on Joomla Training, I would like to tell you guys that why you should learn Joomla???
Some of the general questions I offer come across some of my students are :-

1. We can design great websites using XHTML/CSS or PHP. Then why Joomla. 
2. Some say Joomlaaaa.... Hahahaha . What a funny name.
3. Some say , we design in wordpress. Wordpress is much better. It gives me option of blogging + dynamic website.
4. I have heard that Joomla is very difficult to manage.
5. It is very difficult to make new pages in Joomla.
6. We have heard that Joomla modules does not have Drag and Drop facility like wordpress.
7. Do I need to have a prior knowledge of PHP before doing Joomla.

and this list goes on and on.



So now, the thing that comes  into picture is that why you should learn Joomla. There are enormous points for which you should learn Joomla and regarding this I wont like to give big paragraphs of copy pasted material.

Following are the points for which you should learn Joomla and not wordpress

1. Joomla is one of the most widely used CMS ( Content Management System ) in the industry.
2. Joomla has much powerful ACL (Access Control List) and Security as compared to Wordpress.
3. Joomla can be expanded much easily with a wide range of components and modules.
4. Wordpress basically is a blogging tool which later on got converted to CMS.
5. Joomla is more SEO friendly with its SEF Urls.
